Shannon Bodrogi is a Seattle-based artist and musician. Originally from Santa Maria, CA, Shannon received their BA in printmaking from San Francisco State University. Working primarily with paper lithography, monoprint, painting, collage, and natural dye, their work considers the symbiotic layering of memory, lyric, impermanence, and our complex relationship with the natural world. Their work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions and is in private collections. They have a studio in Pioneer Square that hosts workshops and invitational exhibitions called Tackle Box. In 2023, they were a Bloedel Reserve Community Creative and attended the Fellow Ship Residency. In 2022, they received a 4Culture Relief Grant and in 2020 the SF Beautiful’s Muni Art Award.
